CBD tincture / CBD oil/ CBD drops refers to products that are taken sublingually under the tongue. CBD vape oil is different and not to be confused. CBD vape oil also goes by the name CBD vape juice or CBD vape oil. Both methods are adminsteration are effective.
However CBD vape oils are only for vaping purposes and should not be taken sublingually just like how tinctures aren’t meant to be vaped. Though both contain CBD the consequences are deadly if you substitute one in the place of another.
How different are CBD tinctures from CBD vape oils?
The CBD extraction process differs between both. The CBD extraction process involved in CBD tinctures results in a more concentrated CBD extract and has certain alcohol content. Manufacturers add carrier oils to dilute the resulting extract. A thinning agent is added to CBD extracted for vaping purposes to enable easy flow of CBD through vape pen.
Both contain different additional ingredients. CBD tinctures contain food grade ingredients which shouldn’t be vaporized and vaping alcohol-based CBD tinctures imply you are inhaling alcohol into your lungs.
CBD tinctures and CBD vape oils shouldn’t be swapped as they result in injuries. If you have further doubts, you can reach out to your CBD product manufacturer.
